AMP GAUGE AFTER DELCO CONVERSION

What have you done with your amp gauge after converting to a Delco single wire alternator ?

It was posted a few fourms ago about a Delco Part Number to add a amp gauge. Problem being is the original amp gauge will bot handle the 100 amps of the New Delco.

I have thought of running a heavy wire from battery to the amp gauge, then to my fuse block. This would show the total discharge of the system, but never show charge. However, it would not be a dead gauge.

Any other ideas ?????
