I can't imagine that the blade stayed sharp very long. Railroad ties are abut the worst thing to cut. They are full of sand, dirt, gravel, and cinders and are death to a chainsaw chain. I have wanted to buy a carbide cordwood saw blade, but can't justify the cost. I have also wanted to buy a Foley Belsaw sharpener, but again can't justify the cost. I'll just keep hand sharpening the teeth one at a time and practicing my patience in the process. ;^)
