I hesitate to ask too many questions because I've learned that almost anything can be found somewhere in the archives. But "engine running too cold" doesn't seem to get a lot of attention.
I'm running maybe 120 deg after installing a new thermostat from VPW on my '48 PW. It looks like there is supposed to be an internal rubber ring/gasket, and I don't have one. I'm not sure where to find one or whether that would cause the problem?
Also, I looked at the thermostat P/N's in the PIF and those look very different from the one I have. Or those intended as "modern" replacements for the original?
