As a builder of a "resto-mod" with an "electronic crappy power plant" you struck a little bit of a cord with me and I started to write this nice long piece about how you need to step back and take a look at these trucks with a grain of salt for comparison.
Instead of airing it here, I think I'll write some thoughts for the PWA and send it over the Matt and let him see if he wants to publish it; it might stir the pot too much thouhgh. Lately, there has been a lot of "modernization" distaste floating around and maybe a coherent response or discussion from someone making these transgressions on the helpless old trucks would help air the laundry.
