I agree, behind either cab corner(depending on what side the starters on)and on/or recessed into the runningboard might allow the spare to stay mounted and provide access to the terminals also. Use large gauge copper
positive connections and ground negative to the frame.Remote battery location seems to work for the street rodders who mount their batteries in the trunks.
