Forgive the simplicity of the question, but why do you think you need one? I have had 6 PWs from '46 to '49, and not one of them has had one, including the '46 I have now and drive all year long. This was why I asked the question below, because I assumed they didn't start until later, perhaps when beginning to pressurize the system more?
