The splines are all the same. At fisrt I thought I was smart by using half of each intermediate shaft. Then I realized two different sized U-joints on one shaft are likely to cause vibration.

I rumaged through my spare parts this afternoon. It looks like I only have enough yolks to use the 4" U-joints. This will require a little floor trimming in front of the transfer case. I'll wait a while before cutting a hole for the rear E-brake. I might be able to salvage the hump from a civilian cab to graft in later.
