Not true.
You forget the energy required to cultivate the corn, process the crop, and the water to irrigate, run the pumps for the wells, When u compare btu for both vs. energy consumed petroleum comes out way ahead.
Don't forget the hot air from the grain producing state politician which is not required at the oil well.
Oh yes the don't forget the rapid deterioration of ethanol and added water in your gas tank and the vapor lock problems due to the volatility of alcohol.
