CARBURATOR QUESTION

Greetings,

My '54 flat fender has a C&C E7T2 carburator. It is then linkage inside the float compartment is sticking causing it to leak fuel.

Would a simple rebuild kit fix this generally, or does sticking linkage mean that it is shot?

Is there another carburator that may provide better performance that anyone is using, or is this the only option?
