Is there a such thing as a 1/2-ton combat wheel?

Did any ’41 WCs have wheels with a bolt on outer rim?

I drug home the wreck of a ’48 Power Wagon. The rear wheels were mounted backwards. Why? Because they don’t fit on the other way. I think they are ½-ton wheels. One has a split outer ring, the other has a bolt on outer ring. What is this wheel? Does anybody need one?
