I've got a 1967 W300 with 9.00 x 16 "Co-Op Grip Spur" tires on it. That's about all that it says on them. Does anyone know who makes these and where they can be bought?
I also have a 1960 CJ5 that I am thinking of putting Military NDTs on, 7.00 x 16. (1) How do NDTs really perform on ice and snow? I've heard some people say not so good. (2) There are several different manufacturer's of NDTs.
Can anyone recommend the better of these? (3) I am also looking at B.F. Goodrich "Trac Edge" tires for the Jeep. Anyone have any experience with these tires?
One last question (maybe Mike Stone the old tire guy is listening): When looking for non-military tires for the Jeep, it is hard to find any with size 7.00 x 16. What tire size is close to that in today's more conventional tire specifications?
Thanks
