At Extrem Motorsport in Wuppertal, Germany, 7.50R16 XZLs cost about $190 each. They have a quieter longer lasting tread than XCLs but still are good and aggressive.
For that matter you might also look at Michelin's XPS Traction 7.50R16. They are all steel also and easy to find in the US.
