He said The 904 was going to be more plentiful for the /6. There were /6 727's used in some trucks but they're scarce.
He also told me I would need two trans. to make one. The 2wd trans will have a long shaft. I would need to get one for a 203 t-case and trade output shafts and housings.
You can build a 904 to be pretty tough.
