I Just heard this from a oldtimer in town. When you shut the motor off for the night, pull the choke out. This may keep the cold damp air from entering the manifold and keep the engine from cooling down too quickly. I dont know, but I tried it this morning and the old 230 seemed to start easier at 1/2 choke and two blips of the throttle. Normaly it takes a shot of starting fluid if it goes below 40deg. at night.
