Photo #9 shows (although not a close up) the passengers side of the bed. You can see the spare tire carrier and the rail missing back to about the first stake hole. There are lots of other great folks here that can tell you more about the space, it puzzeled me at first, I thought why would someone cut that rail? Then I was told, "Nope. That's suppose to be there." Don't know if its all of them (series I and II and others) or just a few... makes sense it'd be on all of them, but someone will let you know. Have fun restoring it!
