My 1949 Plymouth with a 217 easly went 65 to 70(liked 60 to 65 better)Granted to weighed approx.1,600 to 1,700 lbs. less than a PW and did not go thru a transfer case or 5;83 or 4:89 gears but it went plenty and was also stock.
