A friend had wheels made from Deuce and a half wheels on dodge centres. Done in a machine shop and looked real mean.
BUT beware.... broken axles ....particularly the long front and rear was a seasonal thing. He also had to raise the bed and cab on 3 in square blocks.
In a particular high flex rough road situation he partially ripped the front fender and cut the inner side wall and blew the tire. The truck is now used exclusively as a snow pusher in low range.
Unless you are looking just for a fun vehicle I don`t think that it is very practical. The brakes are marginal at best with the 16 wheels.
