There was an article in Militray Vehicles Magazine a few months ago
about this exact same issue. RE-arching is expensive 200 to 300 dollars per axle.
And the springs will sag again because the metal has a certain degree of fatigue.
Adding extra leaves from orginal M-37 springs will wokr just as well as Add-a-leafs.
The OEM spring leaves will give you a smoother ride. (This is what the guy in
the Mil-Veh magazine article did.
I wouldn't lift the front end more than 1.5 over stock height. Any higher and you'll run into steering and drive line issues
which are REALLY expensive to solve.
