At the shop where I work, we have "re-arched"a few spring sets for people over the years. I have never heard back from any of the customers, so I don't know how long they hold up, but I don't think it cost more than $75/axle. We ARE NOT a "Spring Shop", but a regular fabrication shop with a set of plate bending rolls, so our method is to disassemble the spring pack (If you want to save money, do this part at home), then cold roll them one leaf at a time to the new profile. Any fab shop with a set of plate rolls should be able to do this for you. We have always asked the customers to bring us Only the springs, as it gets expensive if we have to do the "remove, disassemble, reassemble, and reinstall" part of the operation. The $300 per axle may not be too far out of line if the shop is doing ALL the work(ie: drive in, drive out service) but I suggest you look in your yellow pages for a fabrication shop that does "rolling",and you will find a much better deal if you don't mind doing some of the work yourself.(The fact that you own a PW /M37 sort of indicates that you might just be prepared to work on it ocasionally, EH?) Good Luck J.V.L.
