Defroster Connection

I've got a 1941 WC-12 closed cab. There's windshield defroster outlets in the dash, with some connecting tabs under the dash. I don't see anything in the Master Parts List for defrosters for these trucks. Is this something left over from the civilian tooling? What have others done for defrosting?
