I know I seen carryalls and ambulances in the 1/2 ton series which did NOT have the full "waterfall" dash.

I was referring ONLY to the closed cab PICKUP trucks.

I quess I was wondering if that feature, or lack thereof was a quick distinguishing mark of a military or civy cab.
