The pole derrick on the phone truck will sure come in handy, especially since I had double hernia surgery last year. Used it to load this transfer case in the bed of the truck today. Turns out the loud snap while driving the WM300 to work last week was in the transfer case. Noise just telescoped through the transmission. The idler gear assembly is bad. Grinds in forward motion and cannot shift into low range. Luckily, I have a few spare cases. Will use parts from both to rebuild one.
