Here is an older pic that shows the brackets (before I took off the flatbed and installed a rear winch).
Sorry I don't have photos of the poles installed - previous owner removed the PUD service box and rear winch, tied off the pole with a cable to the rear hitch which creased the top of the cab. Lots more to do before the poles go back on.
The frame is reinforced in front and back. Very heavy poles - guessing 350 lbs without tackle. Obviously the front springs are ... sprung. I have heard that this truck lifted huge loads. It probably would have turned into scrap if the frame wasn't reinforced.
I would not put dog-ear brackets on the front of the bumper myself because they move the load forward and lower the height, but they are there and everything fits so I'll probably leave them as-is. Or I might get energetic and move them on top and have a push bumper.
