I have sanded the floors down on my Dodge M880, they have always been bare metal floors, so I aim to keep them that way. I was going to put down Correless Rust Inhibitor and then self etching primer and then paint and then Chip resistor. Will this make the chip resistor give the military paint a high shine. It is clear in color. Or if I put the paint on top will it not chip very easily? How did the military do it? Any suggestions? I want to maintain an original look as I am restoring the vehicle.
