they are running drums--like i did --all you have to do is have a machine shop bevel cut the ear on the drum od at the same or more of an angle as the backside of the rim tapers in then the inner dual wheel clears the drum and slides over it only has to be cut 1/8 of an inch or a hair more if you cut at the tapered angle
just run yours the way you have em and run the modified drums in the rear
with a booster it will stop on a dime
also check with wilwood as apparently they have direct replacement dual piston calipers for the gm single piston calipers and they are probably not as tall as the single piston and might clear the valve stem
