I filled my 1 ton Chevys Bed to the top and rounded it once. Drove 60 miles and decided to go over the scales. I had almost 10,000 lbs of gravel in the bed! The bed had only gone down a couple inches past empty but I did not think the gravel would be that heavy!! Glad the State Patrol did not pull me over. 5 ton is a lot of weight to put in the back of a pick up bed!
