Going to use (4) 1 1/8" Bore Pillow Block bearings for the hinge. Each one is rated @ 2700 lbs static load and 5800 lbs dynamic load and should work for the loads. 2 on the frame and 2 on the bed with 1 1/8" rod thru all 4 bearings to hinge it. Bed will sit in a channel to keep it from shifting when down and locked in place.
