In the attached photo showing the brass connection between the wheel cylinders and the steel brake line nuts, the fitting on the left has the correct threads to connect to standard double flair 1/4 inch brake line nuts. The four fittings on the right have 7/6 X 24 (NF) threads and do not connect to standard brake line nuts. To complicate things, on the front where the flex tubes are used the threads on the flex tubes are correct to connect to the 7/6 NF threads in the four fittings on the right.
To sum things up, I need two 7/16 NF threaded double flare tubing nuts for 1/4 in steal tubing, or I need one additional fitting like the single fitting on the left.
Has anyone else ran into this problem on '51 FFPW's? Can anyone help me of make a suggestion where to go to solve this problem?
