It would be an easy part to braze because expansion is not an issue. Just grind out the crack, ideally from both sides, heat it nice and easy with a torch, put some borax flux on it, and use regular old brazing rod. Let it cool slowly. Nothing fancy, just a standard old-school repair. Brazing material is stronger than cast iron, so it won't create a weak spot.
Or if you prefer to get a new one, save your broken one for me and I'll fix it and use it on something. I had to make a bracket from scratch on a PTO where the guy had deliberately cut off the handle pivot part.
