Looking at the specs I have scribbled down here, if your '97 is a quad cab short bed, It would be a 138.7" wheelbase...pretty close, might be able to drop the W300 body on top of the '97 frame without too much issue other than building cab mounts. Not near the work I have in mind for mine.....
