I need your opinion; I plan to do a lot of trailering of my PW for ralleys. Some will be long distance like the VPW rally, 2400 miles round trip.
I have a chance to buy a commercial equipment trailer with a 18 foot bed, tri axle, electric brakes on all 6 wheels. Dexter 7000 pound axles. Trailer rated for 16,000 gvw. Its in almost new condition,
Or would it be better to go with a top of the line tandem axle rated at 12,000 like a foster trailer. What advantages, if any, does a tri axle give you.
Both trailers are receiver drawbar, not gooseneck.
I need to pull with all my trucks including my PW's so a Gooseneck is out.
Thanks
Paul
