I would suggest that you try the Michelin XL tire in either 11.00 X 16 or 9.00 X 16. Diameters are 38 and 36 inches respectively. They are designed to go on 6.5" rims. They will be a tougher tire and have excellent offroad traction. The sidewalls are much better on the Michelins.
