My major concern was not to end up having the gear shifter under my arm pit. I understand well, there is a lot of modifications involved, but on the other hand the availability of 6bt versus 4bt is uncomparable. Smaller 4-cylinder turboed diesels are like hens teeth. For 1 decent 4bt you can get almost 2 6-cylinder motors. Not to mention japanese diesels which are even harder to find.
