This is the early 1947 WDX that is getting the engine rebuild. Leak down test revealed decent compression, but still lacks power. The Welch plugs are bad also. Have not pulled the head yet to see if cylinders are stock or bored already. Will have the block bored as needed as part of the rebuild. Planning to use the later style high-compression head to get some cheap power but retain the stock look. Not sure yet about cam, headers, and dual carb intake. Not really interested in changing this one to a 251.
