I needed a 1" PEX crimper just to do a couple of crimps so I went shopping on ebay and found this guy who makes a dandy little simple tool that will do all sizes, but also fits in a small space. In a lot of cases there isn't enough room to work the handles of a regular PEX crimper, so this will be handy. Just got it today and haven't tried it yet, but it's very well made for a 1-man "garage shop" operation -- good fit and finish, edges nicely chamfered, and markings clear and deep (milled rather than stamped?). I expect it will turn out to be very handy and will last a long time.
Just thought I'd give him a little plug as I know lots of guys here do PEX plumbing. BTW, I'm using PEX for shop air lines too these days.
