Watching this with baited curiosity. I looked into this awhile back, for my 48' (v8, and locked @ both ends with 38" boggers) Spoke with Foote a couple of times, and talked with another individual that had actually ordered 20 sets from them. He ended up sending them back after he broke a couple.

The double splining seems like a viable option.

Sorry if somebody else mentioned this already. I looked a little bit and didn't see it.
