That gun may actually be more than you need for the primer, sealer, surfacer, hi-build or whatever the first coat is called.

A Harbor Freight gun will do fine since you are probably going to end up sanding off most of the product anyway. Make sure you have a big enough tip to spray the heavier material.

I don't think you want to use your best gun for the primer.
