I've used one gun initially for my spraying, having a second gun is handy. What you may want to consider is the two gun DeVilbiss Starting Line kit. Probably about the same price as the gun you bought but the big gun is good for the primer-surfacer or spray filler. But it will also get you a detail gun, which I ended up using almost as much as the big guns. A lot of the small parts, or the inside of the cab just don't lend themselves to the big full-size gun.
Plus I honestly thought the detail gun sprayed better than my big gun, it's just a smaller pattern, but to spray a bunch of smaller parts the bigger gun wasn't always a benefit.
