I noticed it is now OK to modify PWs now? Seems 10 years ago it was a big no no to do it. I want to keep the 48 PW 6X6 original as I can on the front haft and keep the drive train stock. Since it was built a very long time ago I plan to keep it that way. Modern 12VDC Electric Hydraulic Pump for the bed but that is it. Plus a Brake Update to Dual Master Cylinder. Power Steering would be nice but still giving it thought. I will change it to 12 VDC but that can be changed back easy enough later. Looking forward to pulling the cab to work on the drive train and frame. Need to detail it and get the engine running nice. Tons of work to do still but in the end it will pay off on the first drive to town!
