When the suspension on my '47 gets "flexed" up. The engine immediatly speeds up and races uncontrollably. The two options are to either get it off the rock or whatever, turn it off or reach to the pedal and pull back with all your might but sometimes even that doesn't work. Is this just a trait of the beast due to the stiff rod linkage (as opposed to the cable of today) or is it something else? I have replaced the cab mounts.
Thanks
