I started my career as a volunteer FF.
According to the National Fire Protection Association, 69 percent of firefighters in the United States are volunteers.
An Ahrens-Fox restored by my agency crewmembers. Originally was from Long Beach, CA FD. It was rescued from a scrapper in 1965 and restored over many years and man-hours.
