I sent AA my original 435D input shaft and they made one identical to it so the Ranger would fit the same as the original 435D. No spud shaft. I wish I had gone to a larger size input to increase strength and fit a more common spline. I also had to send them the bolt pattern on the bellhousing. It took about 18 months to build it. The splits are excellent and you are right. Third/over is geared a lot like third in the NP435D. Just wondering how Ed managed to get them to build one for a Dodge 435. They would not do it for me. I kind of wish I had looked into swapping boxes with a Ford 435 to keep the NP since I personally like that gearbox better. Don't know if that would work but I have been told it is just the cases that are different. I will say this is a very nice setup in mine and looks like it came from the factory that way.
