That is a good solution, as the 4th (1:1) to 3rdOD (1:1.23) down shift in a SM-465 would kinda mimic the downshift from 4th (1:1) to 3rd (1:1.31) in my NP 435D4. That is a good solution which I will keep in mind. Did AA make a spud shaft for your Ranger inoput shaft, or a longer input shaft for the Ranger OD to fit a [Chevy] 10 spline clutch disc?
