What else but tires, again

I don't remember seeing this question posted before. I am in the market for new tires for my 1/2 ton WC 12. I have decided to stay with the nondirectional military type tread for appearance purposes. I use my truck daily,spend 95% or more on the road, and drive about 4,000 to 5,000 miles per year.

Does anyone have an idea of how many miles are typical for the military ND tires?

I have purchased some mud and snow tires before that did not last 10,000 miles, and don't want to repeat the experience.
