Below you mentioned problems with the newer diesels and exhaust brakes. I was curious about that. I have an '06 Dodge/Cummins and have had a Jacobs exhaust brake on it since it was almost new, and now have 120K. I use it a lot, since most of our freeways around here are only 2 lanes, curvy, and hilly. Maybe the problems came later with the newer engine? Thanks.
