All this spray-on stick-on stuff will have to come off one day, and I doubt it will do so gracefully. If you are lucky, it will stay on long enough so you don't have to do it. But, someone will. As for me, I'd deduct the future cost of removal from the purchase price of a truck. You don't know what it is hiding.
I wonder how the Dynamat and similar stuff will look after a few years of use, especially in wet parts of the country.
One of my trucks had a layer of mud underneath that was like concrete and very difficult to get off. If I wanted spray-on undercoat, I'd just drive through the mud in that part of the country. Really not much difference between that stuff and Linex.
