Why's the ferry an issue?

I used to live over there and the only issues with ferries are length, weight, and hazardous materials like gas cans and welding bottles. I don't know why they wouldn't allow a towed vehicle, and just charge by the foot like they do for trailers. If not, load it on a car hauler and there should be no problem at all. Might cost $100 or so for the fare, but that's not a deal breaker. There are two ferries to the island, and I'm sure there must be a scheduled barge run for things that can't go on the ferry.

Bigger concern to me is that it's a rain forest truck, and under the moss the body and frame are probably actively reverting to the iron ore from which they were mined. Even the aluminum governor housing is fuzzy. Asking price is too high for the condition of the truck. Transport is not the problem.
