'42 WC53 Frame... poor thing was full of cracks, torch holes, and other mess of issues. Those that aren't familiar with what I am doing to this poor truck, do not fret and just carry some faith. Those that are familiar can probably help to calm your nerves a little also as I am doing a fair justice to the truck and not just "bubba welding" parts to the truck and calling it a "repower".
4 link coilover style front suspension
Eaton HO72/Dana 60 hybrid front axle
Cross over Hydro Assist AGR steering
38" Michelin XMLs on Hutchinson Alloy Beadlocks
Front bolted cross member to support a 170 hp Cummins ISB Common rail 4 cyl and an Allison 1000 5 speed Auto.
Body, fenders, inner fenders, etc all fit over these components and hide the updates very well. I have some more cracks to fix in the frame and a little bit of boxing in to do.
