I would solder them or convert to screw terminals with loop-type crimp-on terminals, possibly soldered to the wire for good measure. 30 amps is pushing it for spade terminals, and once the connection gets to be even slightly less then perfect, they get much worse quickly. If the contacts on the pressure switch itself look fine, you might try keeping it and avoiding the complexity of a separate starter, but just improve the wiring and see how it does.
