Well I finally got my transfer case back in. I've already got the tranny rebuilt and the engine should be back from the shop in a week or so. I'm really looking forward to getting the engine back in. Little by little...

I do notice that when I turn the input shaft back and forth on the transfer case, there is just a bit of slop, maybe a degree or so before the gears fully engage and the output shaft turns. I replaced everything but the gears, I hope this is somewhat typical of the NP 200. My tranny is real tight, no "slop" at all.
